GlobalLogic is looking for Application / Consultant Engineer to work on the full time basis in Kiev office.
Working within the FAE organization, you will provide technical expertise about Sequans’ software solutions and WiMAX-based systems in support of post-sales activities. You will help FAE to support their customers on software and system issues by working closely with other teams: application engineering, engineering and field applications engineering.
Scope of the job:
• Reproduce technical issues in simulation or on Project hardware platforms
• Provide fixes or work-around to customers for level-1 technical
• Provide level-2 technical support to customers for software-related issues in all phases of their product development.
• Assist customers in the WiMAX certification process of their Sequans-based products.
• Specify and implement customer specific software features
Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in the telecom and/or microelectronics industry
• Optional System-level knowledge of broadband wireless access systems
• Previous experience in R&D and with the full product development cycle
• experience with wireless networks or embedded development
• Fluent English
